Beauford-Calvet Memorial Fields

Four young Conejo Valley girls - Tammy Lee Beauford, Pamela Jean Beauford, Constance Rene Calvet and Monica Joan Calvet - who were killed June 18, 1974 by an out-of-control car as they walked down Olsen Road were officially remembered Sunday at the dedication of the Beauford-Calvet Memorial Fields. Master of ceremonies Bill Joerger: Mayor Lawarence Horner; Conejo school board member Priscilla Schroeder; and Rick La Piana, the first president of the Beauford-Calvet Memorial Fund; spoke on Sunday as four softball fields were dedicated on the land adjacent to Los Cerritos Intermediate School.
